Mrs. Cantrell is a lifelong Virginia resident who graduated as co-valedictorian of James Wood High School (Winchester) before attending UVA, where she was tapped for both Omicron Delta Kappa and the Raven Society. She also served on the state board of the Student Nursing Association. After earning her B.S. in Nursing, Mrs. Cantrell worked as a NICU nurse before returning to complete her Master’s in Nursing and her post-Master’s certification in 1999. Mrs. Cantrell likes working with children and their families, both keeping them well and helping them to recover from illnesses. She has been with Pediatric Healthcare since 1999. Mrs. Cantrell is an accomplished vocalist and is also trained in organ and piano. She currently lives in White Post with her husband and their two children.
